Trip to Wanuskewin

Last Friday, when Hiway got me up at 6:00 a.m., I forgot what we were supposed to be doing. So, I went downstairs to find out, then I remembered we were going to Wanuskewin for a field trip! 

I got dressed and then we headed out. We stopped at Tim Horton’s for a quencher and a hash brown and proceeded to Wanuskewin. I thought we drove past it, but it turned out that it was a prison. We trusted Google Maps and got to Wanuskewin. When we went in, we got name tags and a schedule. We could wander around until we were called to go.

My group started with the archeological walk. It was interesting but also cold. When we got back Benny’s group was having lunch and it was free time, so I went and played on the playground. The playground was not there the first time I went. It was huge. The slide was so big it felt like licking a battery every time you went down. Then we stopped at the restaurant and got two muskeg peach iced teas, They were terrible. They tasted like drinking from a tree. Benny and I did not like them, but mom did.

After the restaurant it was time for the northern prairie’s technology section. After that, the field trip was over, but we gathered around, and they did draws. I won a DLC water bottle. We went to see the buffalo and then left.

Mom decided to go to Costco the day of the field trip. It was crazy and after we were done, we needed a drink from the vending machine. We must have stood there for ten minutes trying to get mom’s card to work. It must have a vending machine lock or something, but I finally got my iced tea.

The next day we went to Cowtown and stood there for half an hour while Benny picked out a wallet. We went to Costco to return my pants, then to the hobby shop to pick out a new model. Benny had his picked out in about five minutes, but it took me much longer. I was trying to choose between a Ferrari 458, a Porsche 959, a Porsche 911 GT3, or a Toyota Prius. We were going to go to a Halloween store, but it had closed. So, we left the city and Benny threw up as soon as we reached the city limits.
