Thankful Thursday! One-to-One Time

It’s Thankful Thursday!

Though I’m a big advocate of a DAILY gratitude practice, and I hope you have something in place … a journal perhaps or just a spoken (or whispered list) at the end of the day … let’s take some time once a week to share with others what we are thankful for!

Head over to my FB Page, Our Life Well Lived – Leanne Hintz, and share something you’re thankful for there or just comment here.

We are ALL blessed through the sharing!

Today, I am thankful for one-to-one time … with my oldest away for the week, I booked my youngest into daycare for a few hours yesterday so I could carve out some time for my middle daughter! We did some art, baked some cookies, listened to some bible stories, washed the car, had lunch together, and went for a bike ride! It was so refreshing to be able to just focus on ONE child for a little while!

I can’t wait to see how all of our blessings stack up today!

Wishing you a wonderful Thankful Thursday!

Also, if you’re looking for some extra inspiration to carve out one on one time with your kids, be sure to check out Make the Time, a post I wrote a year or so ago about this important topic!

  1. All things outdoors…the fresh scent of clover coming off the fields, the dragonflies flitting about, abundance coming from the gardens, weeds to pull, chickens to chore, baby calves to keep happy, energetic kittens on the front step that make such a mess in all their cuteness:)
