Watercolour Pencil Colouring

My first fun, rest and relax project of the summer was colouring this page from my Psalm colouring book!

I did the letters with markers, but for the rest I used Crayola’s Watercolour Pencils … watercolour pencils are AMAZING! You may remember my Watercolour Poppies from last fall!

These pencils can be used wet or dry or you can use a paintbrush with water to blend and create various tints of the original colour. I personally find the process thrilling!

If you’re artsy at all or enjoy this sort of thing (and you need some extra encouragement to just take a minute for yourself), I highly recommend playing around with these special pencils!

And, of course, as Psalm 118:24 suggests, don’t forget that “this is the day the Lord has made; Let us REJOICE and be GLAD in it!”
