Yesterday, the girls and I hosted a couple of friends for our first “Art on the Patio” session of the summer. I always WANT to make time for these special projects, but, truthfully, they don’t always happen! Thus, I “booked” our sessions in this year and invited friends over for some extra accountability!
We had so much fun with this hummingbird art project that combines Zentangle (so playing around with different black and white patterns) and the super fun process of using bleeding tissue paper to create some colourful backgrounds!
I absolutely love how everyone’s projects turned out! I was especially impressed with Cambri’s independence with this project and her cutting efforts!

Very nice, Leanne. I love the colours the girls chose and the detail of the hummingbird. Can’t wait to see more.
