Watercolour Butterfly

This is a super simple and satisfying art project to do with kids … the result is AMAZING! All you need is a black oil pastel for the outline of the butterfly and some cheap watercolour paints (I just used Crayola)!

I took a few minutes to make this one day when the kids were gone. I love how it turned out (even though most three-year-olds I’ve met ask where the other half of the butterfly is)!
