St. Patrick’s Day Fun!

Good afternoon!

I had a few minutes this afternoon to prep a little St. Patrick’s Day “package” for you all 🙂 I’m not super into St. Patrick’s Day, but I do like a good excuse to do something “fresh” or outside the “ordinary,” so I will capitalize!

Here are some possibilities for you this week as we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day:

I like the idea of printing some of these shamrock outlines for kids to decorate (on one side), while recording reasons why they are “lucky” (on the other side). They could be displayed in the window or you could make a fun family banner celebrating all of the ways you are “lucky.” This is a “crafty” way to sneak in some extra “gratitude,” I think.

In our house, we always enjoy these “joke tellers” (for me, they’re a bit of a flashback to my own childhood), and a little seasonal “I Spy” is always fun too!

My girls will be getting a few of these St. Patrick’s Day-themed lunch box notes in their lunch boxes or coat pockets tomorrow.

And, finally, we’re always up for some colouring over here. Here’s a resource with some free St. Patrick’s Day colouring page downloads (no email sign up required for these ones … I really dislike email sign ups). Add in a kid-friendly audiobook or podcast or just some good old-fashioned visiting and you’re sure to have a good time colouring with your kiddos!

I truly hope these activities serve you in some way today and throughout the week!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! May the luck of the Irish be with you! Today and always!
