Pumpkins!!!

A couple of weeks ago, for my weekly read aloud, we read a story that originated from Japan. When I dug around for some Japanese artists, Yayoi Kusama’s name came up … here’s a couple of examples we created based on her creations … I personally love how colourful they are!

Here’s the resource I used for this one (it did cost me a few bucks, but we’ll probably pull it out each Halloween): https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Yayoi-Kusama-Dot-Pumpkin-Art-Lesson-with-Infinity-Nets-4910694

For more Yayoi Kusama-inspired activities, check out this resource I compiled on our school division’s website: https://resourcebank.ca/courseware/lesson/631?__hub_id=22

If you happen to create some of these yourself in the spirit of Halloween, be sure to share your creations!
