In Science, Mackenzie was learning a little bit more about the black bear. Of course, we had to tie in some art to her learning. So we created this bear footprint art piece. For the bears, we made and used cardstock stencils.
She still has evidence of the chalk pastels she used on her face in this picture! A true artist!
The colour-blending was super fun! For the paw print, we just printed out a picture of a bear paw print, then traced it onto white paper. Once we were done with the colour-blending in the background, we cut out all the pieces, and glued them onto black cardstock.
